Those flutes/runners machined are going to be expensive as hell though for a one off. I would guess several grand in my ME experience, depends how fast you need them. Emachineshop is a good place for cheaper machining. If you use protolabs or rapid machining going to be $$$. |
If he 3d prints them, he can use the lost pla method and cast them with an aluminum/copper composite. Cheaper than having them one off machined.
