I'm 22 years old, I happen to make around 38k a year, I have a few expenses I live on my own (rented waiting for the right time in my life to buy a home) and have some credit card bills, around 4 none more than $1000 balance on them. I usually just pay them off and restart again to keep my credit score happy. I fought for this car to be in my price range and got it for msrp and pay a little over 400 with a very small down payment and an upside down trade-in by like 1k. I certainly don't consider myself to be "rich" nor do I pretend to be "rich". I don't go to car meets, but if any guy was to tell me that I was pretending to be rich by financing my car I'd just ignore him because he probably thinks im one of the many around me who are 16 and have brand new m3's sponsored by their parents, I wasn't that lucky and I'm glad about that. I know that if I was to lose my job tomorrow, I can get another job which would pay me equal or greater ammount of what I earn now (it has happened to me before), and I would never make a late payment on my car or my rent, or any of my bills which have never received a late payment since the day I first got them.
