Ohh gotcha! Thanks for the response!
Wasn't sure if I was missing something and there was some way to enable all the brake lights without the pedal being depressed..which would definitely come in handy if I want to, say, check to make sure none of the lights are burnt out.
Guess I will stick to having a friend help out!
