Back in 1968, I had USAREUR plates on my VW and parked in LA. I got a $10 parking ticket. I decided not to pay it. I didn't think they could trace the plates. Straight into Compton just does not have the same ring to it.
So between German game wardens hunting you down and old tickets you probably owe a cool half mil in fines from the 60s.
