Plugs alone are like $80-$100, keep that in mind with any quotes if they include parts. Then factor in any tools you have to buy.

Unless you're running copper plugs and changing them every 10k km's, it might actually be cheaper in the long run to just pay for them to swapped.

There's also the time/hassle factor, is it worth giving up half a weekend day (or more) to try it yourself? Also factor in needing to have it towed if you get the plugs out and can't get it back together.
