hmmmm....... but, but I had a scary experience, back-in-the-day .....

Was living in Danville, CA in a house up a steep hill and driveway, with a 3 car garage and electric garage door opener. I had the garage floor painted with epoxy paint, so it was nice and smooth (read slick).

At the time I was driving an MGB-GT with a hydrolytic clutch. So, I was screaming home from work one afternoon rounded the corner, hit the door opener, zoomed up the steep driveway, pushed in on the clutch pedal ....... and it went all the way to the floor .......disconnecting NOTHING .......

I slammed on the brakes (prior to ABS) and slid across the painted garage floor and darn near ran into the gas furnace / water heater ........

Another time, I was backing .........oh never mind ....... I don't want to talk about that time .......
