I have a 6266 on the street if I roll on the gas I can fog the tires all the way to 4th gear. That's cruising at 2k and rolling on the gas at 4k I'm up in smoke...
I bolted the slicks on it the other day and went for a cruise 3rd gear broke loose mid way. You won't have these problem with a 5858. If your spinning your not winning. A 5858 is much more controllable and way easier to put the power to the ground. Oh and by the way I was on a 7psi wastegate spring...
Ultimately the choice is yours, but if I wanted to do what you want to do I would hands down get a 5858. A 10s pass is no joke.

Now with this being said a 6262 with the smallest housing will be equivalent to a 5858 but you will loose top end choking it down. That's why I would suggest the 5858 you will get the best of both worlds.
Thanks a lot I'll go with the 5858. What turbine housing should I use to get the best times? I do want to use the 3" v-band discharge should i go for the 64 or 82?
