So I'm a total rookie at this but I've been lots of reading and experimenting lately to try to optimize my tune over the past few weeks and wondering if anyone can guide me in the right direction to smooth out the flkc and fuel trims even further.
I started off with the OFH 93 tune as a base tried applying Wayno's settings to see if I'm getting better results.
I'm running the following parts:
- auto transmission
- JDL catted UEL header
- stock overpipe/frontpipe
- TRD catback
- Perrin drop-in filter
- gas is Chevron 94 octane
Here's the logs for the following:
original OFH 93 UEL tune:

original OFT 93 UEL tune:

OFH custom tune with Wayno's auto throttle map, always-on radiator fan, 'Stg2 UEL 98 v101.AU.Rich A01G UEL' base timing b and AVCS tables:

OFH custom tune with Wayno's auto throttle map, always-on radiator fan, 'Stg2 UEL 98 v101.AU.Rich A01G UEL' base timing b and Shiv's JDL E85 AVCS tables:

So from my rookie observations, all seems to being dropping IAM slowly with the 1st custom tune being the better of the 3 tunes. It looks like the OFH custom tune with Wayno's maps seems to be less erratic with flkc with the exception of the ltft being weirdly higher at -8 compared to the other two around -4ish which I don't really understand. I haven't scaled my maf yet btw for all 3 tunes.
Or maybe I'm just starting with an overly aggressive tune since I did use the OFH tune. But IAM and flkc looks worse on the OFT tune though?
I'm wondering if the erratic flkc at higher rpms be a fuel issue? Or is this something that just needs refining? I could try to fuel up with the next best gas here (Shell 91oct) and reflash with a 91 tune to test it out.
