Lucas like every other additive company in the market want you to use there products, obviously they will talk them up, I'd like an MSDS of that additive to see what's inside it. Modern outboards are literally tuned for E10 now in fuels.
The only issue with them is preventing long term moisture build up.

On older engines yes this is an issue, even on lawn mowers with carbs that don't use ethanol resistant diaphragms and seats but on modern stuff not so much. Also again read the manual it is perfectly safe on stock tune to run 91 on our cars there should be no reason for adding octane booster to that.
