Actually I got the idea from running wide wheels and big brake kit(s).... and a rear wheel drive car with a non-open differential.

1) spares can't be used in the rear
2) spares can't fit over any big brake kit
3) spares will be dead weight and useless

I ended up having a weird habit of either not running any spares, or leaving in a track wheel in the car.
