If I need space I'd put the wheels upright and there's ample room for a drink cooler, my toolbox, jack, and even luggage.

I packed all this in my car last week and drove almost 4000 miles to/from COTA.

yeah, I never move my driver side seat.

Huh never thought bout taking out the spare... even with spare and other kit in the trunk, I still fit (back seat down of course):
17x9 245/40 tires x4
2 ton jack
helmet x2
camera bag
cooler
tool box (mid size)
impact wrench
torque wrench
water spray
backpack
magnet numbers
& still have space for my gf in passenger side to sit.
*disclaimer*
My gf is 5'1" (actually 5', but she claims 5'1" lol)

Prob I can fit 18x9.5 w 255~265 width tires without an issue... but not 100% sure, cuz I've never done it.
