Whenever I transport any track wheels/tires, I never move my driver's seat.

Spare comes out. Then two wheels stacked on top of each other in the trunk (245/40-17 + 17x9" + tire totes usually provide a perfect fit) + two wheels in the back seat folded down.

If I need space I'd put the wheels upright and there's ample room for a drink cooler, my toolbox, jack, and even luggage.

I packed all this in my car last week and drove almost 4000 miles to/from COTA.
