I've only done catback mod & no other exhaust mod, so it's still quiet. If I want to do header or other exhaust mods, I didn't want to make it too loud to drive, so I made sure catback is quiet.

I got the idea from my friend who made sweet exhaust for his STI kinda same way. He got Cobb catback for free from local STI owner, cuz one side was broken (due to he got rear ended hard), so he went to muffler shop & got Y-section cut and made it into single exit and bought & welded different tip. Total costed him like +-$100 for catback that usually cost +$1300. It's louder than reg Cobb catback, but it still loud amazing.
