Thanks man. I want another Blue Monogram and I found one!
Just wanted to update you guys. After days of searching and by some awesome luck I found another Ultramarine Monogram at a Toyota dealership. This one had one owner and only 13K miles on it!!!! I ended up buying 3 cars in 24 hours. I never would have done that if it wasn’t for the flood.
Car 1) Monogram, Car 2) Jaguar XE-R Sport, Car 3) Kia Soul (Don’t Laught). Why? So my limited edition Blue (Ultramarine) Monogram FR-S floated away last week. Like I said, I spent days looking for one and found one in Ruston, LA with only 13K miles on in and in perfect condition!!!! I flew out there to get it and drove it back home. Since I will never get another one of these, I do not want to drive it much. I decided to get another car.
Chase sent me this great offer to pre-order a Jaguar XE or F-Pace. I filled it out, Jaguar called me, and we set a time up to go to the dealership. Silly me, I was thinking it would be like two weeks or so and I’ll have my Jaguar. Nope!!!!!!!! Jaguar informed me that it takes at least 4 months to get as new Jag, as they are built in England, have to be shipped to Georgia, and then trucked to Dallas. Since the XE is a new model and mine is custom it will take even longer. On Jaguar USA website they offer BlueFire, but they won’t even start painting those till the end of July and Jag was telling me I won’t get it till Oct/Nov!!!!! Yikes!!!!
So they made some calls and was able to get it in Caesium Blue, which is on the F-Pace but not the XE. So now I’m going to have a super rare XE. Score! Then they said I can get it by September. Still 5 months thou!!! So what am I to do in the mean time? I’m not going to put all those miles on my GT-86! I drive 200 to 300 miles some days around DFW. Don’t make fun of me, but I need a cheap fun car to get around and has the space to carry things. So I got a Kia Soul. It is a car I can put the miles on and not worry about it.
