In the Bathurst Enduro race recently, most of the top end of the field used them. Why reinvent the wheel when the hard work has been done for you. Josh is out with his 86 at the track every few weeks testing his suspension and custom suspension stuff to help make the 86 track performance better, including some work towards helping put power down better on corner exits.
Just wondering really.

Can't agree more with this. You've no idea how lucky you are to live in Australia when it comes to track suspension!
I recently moved from Aus to USA for three years and have a BRZ over here. It is currently a daily driver and weekend track car, and almost all of the hardware going on it will come home with me in three years time for the purchase of another 86/BRZ, which will be weekends/track only.
If I was in Australia my coilover choice would be MCA all the way. The performance of the Blues and Reds at their pricepoint is simply off the charts. As I am over here and my car is still a daily, I have gone for the cheaper and softer option of STs, with the intent of selling them when I leave and putting MCA Reds on my car when I get home.
MCA supplies the control suspension parts for the Pro-Am 86 racecar series, which I believe is a tailored MCA Red package costing less than $3k. I've read this has had a tonne of development put into it from Josh and none other than Neil Bates. Bates has done a 1.08.7 around Wakefield in the 178kw/1170kg prototype race car on the MCAs and non R-compound Dunlop Direzza Z2s (Treadwear 200). It'd be even quicker on RE-71Rs!
That is a stupidly fast time for a car of that power/weight/cost and on those tyres.
