From the weld that's in red in the picture to the bottom of the tip is right around 6 inches. From the top of the tip to the weld is right around 7 inches. The pipe coming out of the muffler angles the tips up but since the tip is a different length top vs bottom, it looks even when its installed.
My guess is if you put on another tip, it will look slightly angled up.
