I wouldnt think Subaru will Turbo the car as from a marketing approach would say it would eat into WRX sales.
I dont think there will be anything from Toyota also because again i believe they will reintroduce the Supra as a more expensive forced Induced car.
Both companies will retain both models as price conservative high volume sporty cars.
Look what Mazda did, they were in ruins and then released the MX5, With the sales they were able to introduce the RX8 and the revamped 3.
