So I compared the OTS stg 2 to the new stg 2 rom modified by shiv that enabled the MAFv and IAM readings. I seen that there were additional tables from the modified version and there were a couple of changed tables. It looks like he used the new OFH rom but applied the OTS stg 2 values into it but not quite all of it. There were a couple of tables with the modified rom with identical values as the OFH but different from the OTS stg 2 rom for example "Manifold Pressure Sensor Limits (CEL). What I did was copied the values from the original OTS Stg 2 to the Modified rom. Basically I copied over every single value from the the original OTS stg 2 to the modified rom but did not touch any other parameters that was identical with the modified rom and the OFH rom (I guess the additional parameters that were missing in the older OTS stg is what allows the OFT to read IAM and MAFv etc) I hope I'm making sense because I'm having a hard time making sense to my self the using the proper terminology aswell lol
So every table that both the original OTS and the Modified had in common I took the values form the OTS and paste it in the modified rom (modified rom had identical values as the OFH) All the new tables or parameters what ever is the correct term that are in the new OFH and the rom shiv modified that are missing in the old OTS I had left untouched.
Now, do you guys think it is safe to flash this edited rom to my car?
