Headlight works as a unit. Reflector/lense/light source, their properties and relative spatial placement work together to produce specific shape and strength light beam as per specs and legal requirements. Mixing parts of "similar" units instead of replacing whole unit imho is asking for potential problems, even if parts from one's headlights mechanically fits and could be mounted in other's. Resulting light beam might be within specs, or might be not, i wouldn't want to experiment and be told at MOT to fix lights and repurchasing stock lens back.
