I figure the difference between a v6 and v8 can't be more than say... 40lbs? Might look it up later. In a 3500lb car, 40lbs isn't much. The increased power should more than make up for it. Shit you could just relocate your battery to the trunk to balance it
I looked for a weight on the LGX(v6) and didn't cone up with anything right away. Regardless I would expect GM would have made an effort to balance the v8 in that chassis
