I think that a lot of people have a big problem doing the, "get away from the crowd" part. Too much trying to impress others, too much "what do you think" when it comes to aesthetics, and even then it doesn't bother me much. People will get bent out of shape (definitely not saying that you are) about the smallest things.
There is some dude that posts pictures of his "track inspired" S2000, and people give him so much crap about it because he doesn't take it to the track. I see both sides of it, but at the end of the day it's HIS car. I like to live and let live, but I will poke fun where I can,
