I believe I know what you're getting at. As you begin ease into the woeful brake pedal and mash down on he hollow bottom clutch in your head you know you're just going to have to wind this thing back up again. God forbid you leave it in gear to let the car creep, it will certainly buck and jive with displeasure at that thought. No, the FT86 requires you to keep your foot at least near the clutch pedal to maintain any sort of civility in traffic.
Yes, in traffic the car is utter shit. I've mentioned this before, maybe.

This guy...
From your previous posts, it's pretty clear your extremely negative feelings on this car. I kind of wonder why you even bother hanging out in an enthusiast board for it.
When my car wasn't FI, daily driving it felt like just about every other car with a 2.0L or smaller engine in traffic. It was ordinary and definitely not sub-par. Still, my FR-S looked better doing nothing than any Sentra, Corolla, Civic, or CRZ. Want more? Driving this car at its' relatively low limit is where the fun is. With that in mind 0-60 in 6.x seconds is not bad at all. That was the stated goal of Tada-san. Did you expect something else?
But really, how about a link or source for this part below? I'd be willing to guess that there quite a few cars from both Toyota & Subaru that deprecate faster than the 86 (e.g. Yaris, Corolla, Prius-C, RAV-4, hell probably even the Avalon. And from Subaru, my guess would be that the pre-2015 Forrester, Impreza, and Cross-Trek, also deprecate equally or faster). What's your source for this statement?

These cars depreciate much faster than any Subaru/Toyota for whatever reason....

BTW... I ran my 2013 6MT FR-S at "Very Good" condition and its' current mileage (28k) and the value Kelly Blue Book returned was $17,855 (purchase prices was $26.5k). Standard mileage (36k miles @ 3 yrs returned $17,200) How in anyone's mind is this faster than any Subaru or Toyota? If you just made that up, please say so. Otherwise a link would be really nice.
