I guess the Toyota badge confuses people really bad, but one time I was speeding down the road and was being tailed by someone in an older Lexus, came to a stop light, and he pulls up next to me and asked me to roll my windows down, he first said "nice car man, what kind of Toyota is that?" Before I could even answer he said "are those the new celicas?" I laughed and gave him a quick speech about the history of the car.
Another time I was walking out from the grocery store and this older gentlemen was walking behind me, he saw me unlock my car and just had this big what the fuck face, he was so confused as to why I owned this car (I just turned 20 so I'm fairly young), I guessed he assumed it was an expensive sports car, as he walked by he looked at the car once more and then looked at me again and said nice car man.
