Depending on price/performance/etc I might be inclined to buy a pair of these off you.

Have you considered cutting out the stock speaker grill and adding a new, larger opening?
The 10" would probably play a little deeper and would be a little more ideal for a car of this size. The tradeoff is that it would be mono, which doesn't matter for the deepest bass. And it would be a little more difficult to not make it sound like it was coming from the trunk.

I'm not going to go for a full 20-20kHz system this time. I think 2 8" subs in stereo will provide some good mid-bass bump and would provide stereo separation for drum tracks. The 10 would play lower while the 8's might feel a little more realistic.

My goal is to not cut into anything if I can help it. I want to place the subs behind the panels as is without modifying the grills. It may not work but it's something I'm going to look in to. The problem is that the panels will become passive radiators and will distort the sound of the subs. I'll have to play around with it to see what crossover points I can use to minimize this and what dampening I'll need to do to reduce vibrations.
