@Jovontea ...... here is a handy tool for your tool box to loosen up tight screws. It will either break them lose or bugger up the head so as to leave the only option being to drill it out.

The way you suggested, the same method used for stubborn computer screws, you unscrew it left while pulling down, alternatively you can attempt to reach it through the wheel fender liner because you have to undo those clips anyway to get the bumper off.

Interesting, when putting that back as well it doesn't feel like it's actually screwing in it more or less pushes in.
