I've never pushed my luck, but some guys in the Ottawa club have saiud you can go below the empty line. My 600 is near the empty line, and I think I've stretched to 620ish before.
When I'm fueling up I stop when the pump stops too, I'm not adding until it overflows.
I can give you my Shell "route" if you like.
