From my girlfriend:
I would recommend staying at the best western in fredericton, they are super friendly and have a great breakfast. its also close to the downtown and just off the highway. I would also keep driving to Antigonish, and not stay in New Glasgow, its kind of a dump and at least Antigonish has a beautiful university and lets you be one step closer to Cape Breton. Definitely add in Peggy's Cove and the Halifax waterfront. AND the Annapolis Valley. Amazing views, people and good food. GO to the Library pub or the Naked Crepe. 2 Doors Down in Halifax is delicious, it's all local products and the menu changes all the time. ENJOY!
