(By the way, the upcharge is extremely inelastic. I pay $0.50 extra for premium over regular. That's like, $2.50 extra per tank, 4 tanks a month give or take, $10 a month, $120 a year. That's a pretty cheap premium.)

Here (near home as of this morning. prices can vary huge depending on time of day and where in city):
Reg - $3.92 gl
91 - $4.05 gl
93 - $4.51 gl
I use about 20 gallons a week so call it 80 a month.
So, I pay an extra $564 a year for 93.
That is peanuts when you look at the volume I use and the distances I drive!
