Glad you're OK. Now as for how this happened. I've never had nannies on any of my rear wheel cars, except ABS on a few. Learn to drive a 6500lb truck in snow and ice without 4 wheel drive and you can drive ANYTHING. The fact that we now have these nannies is making people complacent. The car tries too hard to keep you from killing yourself. Darwin would not approve!

Anyone new to rwd should go to a big empty parking lot and make a bunch of quick, sharp directional changes. See how the car reacts then practice preventing the car from doing whatever it does. It would prevent a LOT of incidents like this.

Tough lesson but at least you and nobody else got hurt!
