Similar engine. But also many differences. Not the same.
$1800 for what? just the turbo? I think he is missing a zero in there.
Yeah sure they can do the work, but you want mechanics who work on stock cars all day to work on your modified vehicle?

The guy is just pulling your leg. Ask him to make a quote for parts and labor, see how fast he disappears or makes excuses.
