I can't really tell if I need to do this your way. I didn't have tools at the time so I simply opened the top clips, loosened the engine-side of the 2 halves of the box, and fussed with it until I figured out how it fits and resecured all 4 points.
Is there any part of the installation that is impossible without doing it your way or am I ok?
