I think you are mistaken with your "facts",so here are some real ones.

The vehicle with the highest percentage of manual sales so far this year is the brand new Subaru BRZ. Seventy percent of BRZs sold are equipped with a manual transmission.

Now this is specifically talking about the BRS and not the FR-S,but since we are speculating,I would speculate that the numbers might not be that far off.


ps,I know this is an old article,but I would venture to guess that the stats wouldn't have changed that much.Again,that's just speculation though.
OK so lets' take the very next line from that same article:
"That is a skewed number since the BRZ just came out, and most of the buyers are early adopters. “We think that over time that number will change a bit,” said Infante."


It mentions the FRSat52% for early adopters.


Ironic that you linked a series of articles that support exactly what I was saying! The MT is doomed whether we like it or not.
