Watched "The Hateful Eight" this weekend. Very slow to develop, bloody as hell, absolutely brilliant characters produced by the cast. Typical Tarantino. In the end, quite entertaining, although I nearly gave up halfway through because of the slow plot. Glad I stuck it out.
I also greatly enjoyed Ennio Morricone's great musical score. He is the same guy that did all the music for the Sergio Leone films like "The Good, the Bad and the Ugly." A good composer writes something that is enjoyable and interesting, a great composer grabs you by the lapels in the first measures and then won't let you go. Morricone is a great composer.
