I believe that Scion cars are made in Japan, but it's not the case that we don't like Scion. Like some say "legacy", and other say "brand image". If it's a Scion, I hope Toyota will discontinue as soon as possible and let Subaru take over the sale. Lesson learned the hard way tho.
