I doubt I could do the same amount on the RE-71 tho. They are basically liek r-comps, and they wear out so fast... In fact, there are some reviews out there that show it to be better performing than some lower quality r-comps. They were generous with the 200TW rating and just slapped it on there for it to be legal in competitions.
I could get 30k miles out of the RE-11 if I wanted to, but my state inspection is due so I'm changing them now. T_T Getting a full set of tires every 15k miles does not sound too good for what I am using them for.
Just my humble honest opinion. Different tires for different applications.

Sounds like you will heat cycle your re-11s out before they run out of tread. But with minimal track use, that isn't the biggest deal.
FWIW: My RE17r have about 3k in street driving, 14 autox events, and 5.75 track days. They are about 1/2 tread. I probably will kill them off by July this year as I'll have 9 HPDE days before mid july.
