The platform is in alright shape. My car was reareneded and the frame was damaged but then rebent back into the shape it once was. Drop an ls in it or an engine of your choice to get rid of that knocking engine, straighten the frame, get new aftermarket wheels and tires to replace the front wheel. New aftermarket suspension and control arm components. Sounds like it will need a new steering rack as well.

Like I said it's a lot of money, but scrap? I wouldn't go that far. One man's trash is another's treasure.

If I had the money and time I'd make this thing a dream come true.

Doubt you're saving any money from having to rebuild it again. Maybe worth it to part out after buying for like 3K or something. This PARTICULAR car looks like a total POS from the Toyota inspection and information provided.
