Again....that's not how tires work. A 225/40 has a circumference of 2,002 mm. A 255/35 has a circumference of 1,997 mm. This represents a difference of 0.2%.
My proposed setup has a difference of 2.5%. Over 10 times your difference.
You essentially have identically sized tires. Now they are bigger than stock yes, BUT.....they are basically the same diameter front to back. Your car doesn't care if you have tiny hotwheels tires or giant tractor tires. All it cares about is that all four are the same diameter.
