I'm currently springless and dislike the looseness of the clutch when let off at top, I ended up bringing the cruise control sensor down a bit until it held the clutch steady. The sensor itself works fine still. But the clutch master seals wearing does sound scary.
EDIT: holy crap, $27 for the spring!? :/
