I daily the car and have been extremely happy with the Direzzas. Great grip and feedback and break away progressively. The RE71R's have better peak performance characteristics at the expense of usable life.
Never ran the XS on the FR-s, only on my Vette (600lbs heavier). They were fantastic, but much like the RE71R's have a markedly shorter lifespan than the Direzzas.

The event is only 1 day, Sunday. Saturday night is just early tech if you don't want to be at the track at 7am.
