Bought my 17 year old a Scion TC this past weekend (he wanted one like his older brother who I bought one for too).
Good lord driving that thing felt like I was being punished and forced to take a timeout in the corner!!!
They are awesome little cars but DAMN putting the pedal to the floor at highways speeds literally lurches you forward!!!! instead of throw you back in the seat LMAO.
I must admit though, that miserable performance is part of the reason I dont mind buying those cars for my sons. Not really fast enough to get into trouble very quickly.
Even if you are trying to speed it takes a while to get there, LOL.
Its a hella great little car, sporty, fun, and cool.
But its hella slow.
