Drain plug leaking...what to do...

Guys I finally found a car yesterday about 200 miles from my house. Went looked at it, took it for a quick test drive, everything check out great. Carfax/Autocheck look good. It was a long haul home and I noticed this morning pulling the car out a small puddle of oil under the car. At first I thought it was water or condensate from the AC.

Nope, definitely oil when I got out to look. So I put the car on stands and it appears to be coming from around the drain plug. So I'm not sure if it's been cross threaded or what? It was tight, I loosened and retightened myself (hand tight). I'm a bit annoyed because the dealership is 200 miles away, but overall it seems like a really good car. I am annoyed that after a day the drain plug seems to have an issue.

Is this common or is something else amiss??
