If not, on a 2016, surely a warranty claim...Talk with your service writer very nicely. If they say no, gradually get more insistent. Even if it was your fault, still a warranty claim...unless of course you've done major mods to the power train already.
Oh, I see now, looking at your posts....seems you've added something under the hood of the car....well, still worth a try for warranty.

He has a supercharger, I'd love to see a dealership warranty that.....they won't if they want to keep their franchise.
