Generally speaking, if the pressure plate is bad, your clutch won't fully disengage. If you can shift into gear with the car off, but not with the car on - the pressure plate is likely toast.

This doesn't sound like that. Have you checked for leaks with the slave cylinder?

If I understand your problem correctly - the clutch is not engaging, so the car never goes into gear? Does the clutch pedal have a normal amount of resistance? Can you press the pedal and have a buddy see if anything's leaking under the hood?

There's also a possibility of the center of the clutch failing, which could result in this sort of behavior. The linkages and throwout bearing could also do this, but it would have to be something kind of bizarre on a car this new.
