I am trying to decide which tires to select. I drive my BRZ most of the year as a daily driver. If it snows or freezes i drive another vehicle. I want a good performance tire that I can drive but maybe track once or so a year. The two I am looking at are the Michelin Pilot Super Sport in a summer performance tire that specs out good in the rain. I have heard they are very slick when the temps go below 50 degrees. Anyone comment on this? If they get too slick in the cold then I will look at the Continental ExtremeContact DWS 06 in the High performance all season category as a better driver in the cold.
Any feedback or thoughts would be appreciated.
