My WRX is making just over 320hp, its quite fast for a winter car (I think so anyways) I love the car, love that its a 5 speed manual and I dont think I could live without it.
On the other hand, my FRS is my summer car and yes its an automatic. I test drove both AT and MT before buying it and still went with auto. This was my very first automatic sports car. The major reason why I bought the auto was because the dealership did not have halo white in manual, so... I chose color over manual transmission. After test driving the automatic FRS I felt in love with it. (quick shifts, amazing rev match downshifts). The FRS is not just a regular automatic, people need to gain some knowledge or spend a week at the track with the Automatic FRS before they jump into conclusions. NO IT DOES NOT HAVE A THIRD PEDAL. So what? Neither do a lot of sports cars nowadays. I can launch and spin tires... its called hold the brake then giv'er gas. My rear tires are 9 inches wide and I can still do burn outs, go figure.
If I didnt already have my manual WRX, I probably would have waited the 3 months just to get the manual FRS in halo white, but this wasnt the case.
Im extremely impressed with the automatic FRS.
