The OOMF of the 3.8 V6 is intoxicating, but so is the much shifter / clutch of the BRZ.

I'M SO CONFUSED!

The BRZ seemed to have a smoother ride than the FRS. Do the different rear struts make that big of a difference of was I experiencing placebo affect?

Does a header and tune actually give the BRZ 40 more HP?
That might be enough.

By my calculations
GC 9.77 hp/pound
BRZ 14 hp/pound
I would think with that big of a difference the GC wouldn't feel much more potent.

Well now, pizza_pablo ...... decisions .. decisions ......

NOTE: I think you have your lbs and HP turned around .......

Some say the BRZ does ride a bit softer than the FR-S.

I understand that a header, tune, intake and maybe E-85 fuel will give the BRZ/FR-S a few more horsepower....... but it still won't beat that mustang sitting next to you at the light.

A BRZ/FR-S, left stock, can be a decent touring/commute car (especially with an AT).

So, now that you have driven them ..... it's pretty much your call. However, if you choose the GC ..... just don't be slowing my FR-S down, going up or down Mt Rainier .......
