Yeah, they didn't include your property taxes in that estimate, I bet. We financed 230K at the very bottom of the interest rate market (30 year fixed rate note) and it came out to right at 1000/mo for the mortgage itself. That did not include the 700 dollars for taxes each month. So our actual mortgage payment is $1700, with the tax money held in escrow.
