Why would this be a hazard?

I mean, you hold the car on the incline suing the foot brake while the car is in neutral. Then you press the clutch, enagage the first gear, pull the hand brake, move you right foot to the accelerator (without unnecessary rush, the car won't roll because of the hand brake), then smoothly release the clutch, press the accelerator, and release hand brake all three at the same time.

I can understand that you would consider it excessive, because you don't feel rushed and you are quick enough that the car won't roll back. But I don't see a hazard.

I said **I** would be a hazard because I drive fluidly as I have for so long that adding a step like that would make me wait to long at lights to get going or possibly stall. I look at it this way...if it isn't broke no need to fix it.
