How to drive a manual tranny vehicle:
1) Step on the ckutch
2) Select the gear
3) Release the clutch
I taught 3 daughters at age 15 to drive stick (914 Porsche, MR2), my wife at age 42 (Nissan Hardbody), and my 12 year old grandaughter ('13 FRS).
No cars or girls were harmed in the process.
