Often people will post something silly like this and then, when people say it looks silly, they'll try to justify it by saying they need it for performance. When that happens, the mod still looks silly. But then we also know that person is a poser.
The other mods you mentioned may or may not be silly and may or may not be functional. Right now we're just discussing canards, which are not functional and look silly. Don't get mad, though. Wouldn't you rather know why people are laughing at your car?

I'm.just gonna go out on a limb and say that canards are in fact functional. Maybe not all the time, maybe not the way you drive your car but to say they aren't functional is just plain ignorant.
These don't seem like the kind of guys who would put canards on a car just for looks
